Aelin is described by Rowan as smelling like jasmine, lemon verbena, and crackling embers. We also added in lavender for the beautiful soap she uses. What results is a smoky and floral fragrance that has a smooth citrus middle from the lemon verbena. The smokiness from the lavender embers hits first, but is quickly backed up by all of the other beautiful notes listed.
With our Throne of Glass series, we've aimed to be as book-accurate as possible and luckily author Sarah J. Maas has made it pretty easy for most characters and locations! We have of course taken a little bit of creative liberty to amp up some of the scents a little (we can't help ourselves) and we couldn't be happier with the results!
